Advertising is annoying to our friends and casual followers in social media, except in designated places. For that reason I have virtually eliminated ads via Twitter, concentrating instead on promoting others&#039; blogs that I like, drawing attention to my own, and of course taking part in the conversation. The last has brought the acquaintance of many new friends and colleagues whom otherwise I would never have &quot;met&quot;.</description>
